📝 Identity Description

Vincian is a term used to describe homosexual men* who love other men* (mlm, MLM). It can describe all kind of gay men, including (but not exclusive to) aro, ace, questioning, NB and gender-non-conforming men.

The creator Triton used the original proposed design by Hermy as inspiration and refined the gay man flag colors and added meaning to the different stripes. The meaning was inspired by Triton own reasearch on queer history, his (and others) own experiences as gay men and the original rainbow flag, which [he] love[s] dearly and hold[s] close to [his] heart, this flag is not meant to replace or erase it in any way! [He] would love for them to be used in tandem.

Similar to the original design but with less stripes to make it easier to reuse and reproduce.

Originally proposed Flag
The first known proposal for an MLM flag with 7 stripes and a green and blue color schema.

As a response to a anonymous user on tumblr, the Moderator Hermy from @ask-pride-color-schemes proposed this design using a blue and green [orignally asked for blue and purple, but was changed to green, to be different from the butch lesbian flag] color schema derivation of the lipstick lesbian flag as the anonymous request suggested.

First gay man Flag
A flag similar to the current mlm flag, but based on the shades of azure and blue.

This is the first well-known flag design covering mlm as its motive. It got creaded by Valentin Belyaev in mid-2010s to combat gayphobia and later spread throughout the internet.
